Chinese national robbed of P1.16-M Rolex watch, Tiffany necklace in BGC
Four suspects robbed a Chinese national of an expensive watch and necklace in Bonifacio Global City (BGC) in Taguig on Aug. 8.
The Taguig police reported that the robbery happened on Forbes Town Road, 26th Street in BGC.
The motorcycle-riding suspects took the 30-year-old victim’s Rolex watch worth P1 million and Tiffany silver necklace valued at P164,000 and fled.
The police warned pawnshops, jewelry buyers, and the public about buying the stolen jewelry, saying that “purchasing or accepting stolen items is a crime punishable under the Anti-Fencing Law (PD 1612), with penalties including imprisonment and business permit revocation.”
“Report any attempt to sell these items immediately to Taguig City Police Station. Anyone with information on the suspects or the stolen jewelry is urged to call this Police Station,” the police said.
