According to PDEA Bulacan Provincial Office, the suspects were identified by their aliases as Jon, 27; Lou, 19; Yael, 25 — all male — and a senior female known as “Mami,” 63.
Authorities recovered two knot-tied plastic sachets containing some 200 grams of suspected shabu, with an estimated street value of P1,360,000.
Marked money used by an undercover agent was also seized during the operation.
Alias “Mami” is believed to be a key figure in the distribution of illegal drugs in San Juan and nearby areas in Bulacan province, PDEA said.
The confiscated substances were submitted to the PDEA Regional Office 3 laboratory for forensic analysis.
The successful operation was a result of coordinated efforts among PDEA provincial offices in Bulacan and Bataan, PDEA National Capital Region (NCR), and the Philippine National Police Drug Enforcement Unit in San Juan City.
The suspects will face non-bailable charges under Section 5 (Sale of Dangerous Drugs) in relation to Section 26B (Conspiracy to Sell Drugs) of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
