SUV driver hurt after crashing into concrete barriers in Manila
The driver of a white sports utility vehicle (SUV) was hurt after crashing into multiple concrete barriers along the northbound lane of Padre Burgos Avenue in Manila on Friday, Aug. 8.
According to the Manila Traffic and Parking Bureau (MTPB), the incident happened at around 5 a.m. when the driver of the white Geely Okavango SUV, who was initially in the center lane of the road, hesitated to turn left, causing him to hit the barriers.
Around five concrete barriers were destroyed by the impact.
The driver, who was said to be on his way to Tondo before the accident, was quickly rushed to the Chinese General Hospital for treatment after suffering from chest pain.
The MTPB urged motorists to slow down and expect heavy traffic in the area due to the accident.
