Drunk woman drowns in Quezon

REAL, Quezon – A 53-year-old woman drowned while swimming under the influence of alcohol in the sea of Purok Kamagong, Barangay Poblacion 61, this town, on Thursday afternoon, Aug. 7.
Police identified the victim as Jocelyn, married.
Investigation said the victim was drunk and leisurely swam at sea.
However, she struggled to float due to pounding huge waves and strong underwater currents and was dragged into deep water.
She was seen floating and taken to the hospital where she was declared dead.
