For a third year cadet of the Philippine National Police Academy (PNPA), it was supposed to be a brotherly talk over bottles of liquor to release anxiety due to some academic pressure. Anyway, he was talking with an upperclassman— a graduate of the same academy and now a police major.
But that brotherly conversation, that drinking session later turned into a massage lesson, and eventually ended in a not-so happy ending.
That police major is now in hot water after the 23-year old cadet accused him of sexually molesting him inside one of the sleeping quarters of the PNPA in Silang, Cavite at around 2:30 a.m. on July 31.
The male cadet told the police investigators that he figured in a drinking session with the police official who is currently one of the officers of the PNPA.
When he got drunk, the cadet told the investigators that the police major asked him for a massage.
Later, the police major allegedly ordered the cadet to undress too for body massage lessons. But during the “massage lesson”, the cadet said he noticed that the police major was already touching his private part.
It was then that the police major allegedly started sexually assaulting him.
“The victim then sought the assistance of the duty guard in the building and their superior, which resulted in the suspect's arrest,” the police report obtained by the Manila Bulletin read.
In the report, it was stated that the police major is now under police custody and will be subjected to inquest proceedings.
“The victim will be referred for psychological intervention,” the police report read.
