Security guard nabbed for repeatedly raping 9-year-old girl in Marikina

A 42-year-old security guard, tagged as the Eastern Police District's (EPD) No. 3 Most Wanted Person, was finally arrested for repeatedly raping his nine-year-old relative in 2020 in Marikina City.
The suspect was identified as alias Ger, 42, a resident of Barangay Tumana, Marikina City. Ger was arrested by virtue of a warrant of arrest issued by the Family Court, Branch 7, of the Marikina RTC for the crime of rape.

Based on the police investigation, the suspect repeatedly abused the then nine-year-old victim from July to November in 2020.
The child remained silent about the abuse until she finally decided to reveal it to her father, leading to the suspect's arrest after four years.
EPD director Brig. Gen. Aden Lagradante said the suspect is currentoy detained at the Marikina City Police Custodial Facility.
“This arrest proves we are serious about making sure offenders pay, and keeping the vulnerable safe. We'll keep pushing until every victim gets justice," Lagradante said.
