P10 M lost in appliance warehouse fire

GUMACA, Quezon – A fire razed an appliance warehouse in Barangay Bagong Buhay here on Wednesday morning, Aug. 6,

resulting in P10 million damage to property.

Arson investigators said the fire started at about 4:30 a.m. and declared fire out at 7 a.m.

Mayor Webster Letargo thanked firefighters from Gumaca, Lopez, Plaridel, Atimonan, the provincial government, and Quezon Rep. Mike Tan for their prompt reponse.

Letargo also thanked the people for forming a bucket brigade that helped contain the blaze.

No casualties were reported and cause of the fire is being determined.
