2 drug suspects nabbed in Pasay buy-bust

A woman and her cohort caught in possession of P351,700 worth of shabu and kush were arrested by members of the Pasay City Police Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) during the conduct of a buy-bust operation on Tuesday, August 5.

Col. Joselito De Sesto, Pasay City Police chief, identified the suspects as Par, 52, a female tagged as a high-value individual, and DJ, 28, a street-level individual. They were arrested at around 9:55 p.m. in Barangay 193, Zone 20, Pasay City.

De Sesto said SDEU members conducted a buy-bust operation for the arrest of Par who was the subject of numerous complaints in the neighborhood over her illegal drugs activity.

Confiscated from the suspects were 51.5 grams of shabu, one gram of kush worth P351,700, and a blue eco-bag.

The suspects were detained at the SDEU custodial facility while the confiscated drugs were brought to the Southern Police District Forensic Unit for laboratory examination.

The suspects were charged with violation of RA 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
