Tractor pins helper to death

BACOLOD CITY – A helper was pinned to death by a tractor that overturned in Barangay Vista Alegre, Ilog, Negros Occidental on Tuesday morning, Aug. 5.
Police Major Randy Babor, llog police chief, said the tractor reportedly swerved to avoid an obstacle on the road. However, due to the vehicle’s heavy load, it tipped over and hit a roadside barrier.
The victim was trapped under the tractor pulling a trailer loaded with a harvester. He was taken to a hospital where he was declared dead.
Also onboard the tractor trailer was another helper who was unharmed along with the driver.
