Filipino hip-hop artist Robledo Timido has released the music video for his song "Kuha Ang Inis," and he is thrilled to share his new music with fans. The song is described as a "creative reunion" and a reminder of where things started.
"Working with BRGR on this new project has made me reflect on our journey, from the early days of
tirelessly crafting our sound to seeing how far we've come. It's been an honor to reunite the crew we formed during the pandemic, and now, as one of the rising acts in Pinoy hip-hop for 2025, we're ready to inspire and give people hope," said Robledo during an online interview recently. "Our upcoming show isn't just about showcasing our talents;
it's about revealing who we truly are."
Robledo offered a fascinating glimpse into the intricate and imaginative journey that fueled the development of this project.
"Building on my usual exploration of relationship complexities, diving into themes of rage for the song
pushed me to examine different facets of human behavior.
"The project itself was born spontaneously in the studio.
BRGR laid down a beat, and the words and flows just came to me effortlessly.
For the visuals, Rex America helped me translate those ideas into a compelling visual narrative," the artist said.
On his contributions to the song, Robledo said: "This song helps me explore new emotions,
specifically overcoming both self-doubt and the doubts of others.
It also allows me to express feelings like rage, while never forgetting my roots,
all of which contributed to the triumphs I'm experiencing now."
Robledo believes that his style and approach have evolved, which has led to his involvement in 'Kuha Ang Inis.'
"My style has likely developed towards an unfiltered, unpolished, and unapologetically authentic sound for "Kuha Ang Inis"
by leaning into my signature lyrical candor and honest exploration of complex emotions.
"This progression shows a growing confidence in my unique artistic voice, allowing me to
present my music in its most genuine form without compromise," he also said.
Robledo opened up about what he considers to be his most potent asset as a musician, revealing the profound connection he shares with his art that resonates deeply within him.

"My greatest strength as an artist is my lyrical candor.
It underpins everything else – my emotional authenticity, relatable storytelling, and even my vulnerability. By being truly honest and unfiltered in my words, I'm able to connect with people on a much deeper level, allowing them to see themselves in my music and feel what I feel."
On what he can improve as an artist, Robledo said: "I think there are still some ways I can get better as an artist. For example, I could try out new sounds and different types of music.
I also want to improve my live performance and stage presence to connect with people watching.
"Making more detailed music videos,
instead of just lyric videos, is another area I see for growth. I'm also hoping to reach more fans by focusing on international markets. Finally, working with different kinds of artists could help me discover exciting new ideas for my music.
"Throughout my career, the most important lesson I've learned about music so far is the power of authentic self-expression and vulnerability. I've realized that the more honest and unfiltered I am in my lyrics, the more deeply my music resonates with listeners," he added.
