Las Piñas college produces 141 student graduates with Latin honors
The Dr. Filemon C. Aguilar Memorial College of Las Piñas (DFCAMCLP), a city-run college, produced a total of 141 students who graduated with Latin honors during its 23rd commencement exercises last August 1.

Las Piñas City Mayor April Aguilar, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of DFCAMCLP, and the guest speaker at the commencement exercise held at the Aguilar Sports Complex, said that out of the 616 students who graduated from various courses, 141 graduated with Latin honors and received distinctions for their academic excellence, including summa cum laude, magna cum laude, and cum laude across various programs.
She said the school offers several Bachelor of Science programs that include Accountancy, Business Administration with majors in Financial Management, Marketing Management, and Human Resource Management. Additionally, the school also offers a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology.
The mayor congratulated the graduates and commended the efforts of the students, faculty, and the college administration in promoting accessible and quality education for Las Piñas residents.
Aguilar added that the milestone is not just a personal achievement, but also a triumph for the city’s continuing investment in education.
She said the DFCAMCLP, a city-run institution, continues to offer free tuition and quality education to deserving students, strengthening Las Piñas' commitment to youth development and public service.
The mayor also said the success of DFCAMCLP Batch 2025 is proof that investing in education gives new hope and a solid future for Las Piñas.
