Kapamilya star Emilio Daez may not have won the top prize in the Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition, but he gained valuable insights from the reality show.
"Take risks. Before I entered the industry, I was a banker, and so it was a big risk for me to change careers. Pero nandito na po tayo ngayon (Now I'm here)," said Emilio when asked about the most significant lesson he learned when he entered the Bahay Ni Kuya during the launch of his endorsement for KFC Philippines in Quezon City recently.
With everything coming up roses for Emilio, the actor said he just feels super blessed and thankful.
"With projects, last two weeks na ng Love At First Spike. I also have Idol Kids Philippines every Sunday. Then ASAP.
"After that, meron kaming movie na ilalabas sa iWantTFC. Pero hindi pa puwedeng sabihin ang details. Then we have a concert with PBB housemates. I will sing and dance. Lahat kami na nasa PBB Collab Edition magpie-perform sa Araneta Coliseum. (We have a movie that will be released on iWantTFC. But we can't say the details yet. Then we have a concert with PBB housemates. All of us who are in the PBB Collab Edition will perform at the Araneta Coliseum)," Emilio also said.
On his dream showbiz projects, the former Ateneo De Manila graduate said: "I would love to do an action project. I also love doing romantic comedy and drama. I have played a kontrabida role. So I love playing a bida-kontrabida role."
Emilio also shared the best showbiz advice he learned from his older brother Mikael Daez, husband of actress-beauty queen Megan Young.
"His number one rule is to be nice to the fans and the press. Just be a good person and be kind to everyone," the rising Kapamilya actor said.
When asked if he would also consider having a beauty queen for a girlfriend or wife, similar to his brother, Emilio said, "It depends on the situation."
