Drug pusher yields shabu hidden in Bible

A woman was arrested and 18 sachets of suspected shabu were recovered during the recent implementation of a search warrant in Barangay Bone North, Aritao, Nueva Vizcaya.
Seized from Mary Jane were 15 medium-sized sachets of
shabu weighing one gram each.
Three more sachets of shabu worth P1,020 were found hidden inside a bible. She also yielded a cellphone, coin purse, and lighter.
The search warrant issued by a Nueva Vizcaya court was implemented by the police along with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency.
Authorities observed that the suspect seemed to have swallowed something during the operation, leading to suspicions that she may have ingested additional sachets of shabu to conceal as evidence.
Her live-in partner, who was also a target of the operation, was not around during the implementation of the search warrant.
Suspect faces drug-related charges.
