PRO-13 fetes top units, staff in police community relations

CAMP COL. RAFAEL C. RODRIGUEZ, Butuan City – The Police Regional Office-13 awarded top performing police officers and field units during the culmination of the 30th Police Community Relations (PCR) Month here on Thursday, July 31.

The activity, supported by Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) Regional Director Maria Loisella E. Lucino and National Police Commission (Napolcom)-Caraga head Josephmar B. Gil, was led by PRO-13 chief Police Brig. Gen. Marcial Mariano P. Magistrado IV.

Awarded for their exemplary community engagement initiatives were Agusan del Norte Police Provincial Office, Outstanding Police Provincial Office for 2025; Cabadbaran Component City Police Station, Outstanding City Police Station for 2025, and 1304th Maneuver Company, RMFB13, Outstanding RPSB Team for 2025.

Awarded outstanding police officers in police community relations were Agusan del Norte Police Provincial Office (PPO) Director Police Col. April Mark C. Young, Outstanding PCAD Senior Police Commissioned Officer; Police Lt. Col. Michael B. Lozada of the 13th Regional Mobile Force Battalion, Outstanding PCAD Junior Police Commissioned Officer; Police Senior Master Sgt. Maria Morina P. Fernandez of the Jabonga Municipal Police Station (MPS), Outstanding PCAD Senior Police Non-Commissioned Officer; Police Staff Sgt. John Leiner O. Pontejos, Agusan del Norte PPO, Outstanding PCAD Junior Police Non-Commissioned Officer, and NUP Tracee Joy Brace, Libjo MPS, Outstanding Non-Uniformed Personnel.

Magistrado commended police officers and field units for their exemplary performance in police community relations.

“Let us be reminded that while this culminating program may mark the end of our formal observance, the true work of police-community relations must continue every day,” said Magistrado.
