Fetus dumped near river in Tayabas City

TAYABAS CITY, Quezon – A six-month-old fetus was dumped near a river in Barangay San Isidro Zone 4 here on Friday morning, Aug. 1.

Barangay Chairman Arlan Razalan reported the discovery in a vacant lot beside the Alitao River to the police at about 8:15 a.m.

The City Disaster Management Office examined and estimated the age of the fetus at about five- to six-months-old.

Police are conducting follow-up investigation to identify who dumped the fetus.

Appropriate charges will be filed against the person who threw the fetus.
