67 families affected by fire in Fort Bonifacio in Taguig

A total of 67 families or 217 individuals were affected when a fire hit a residential area in Taguig on Aug. 1.
In a Facebook post, Barangay Fort Bonifacio announced that “a total of 67 families or 217 individuals were reported to have been affected by the fire incident in Zone 1.”
The Taguig City Fire Station raised the first alarm at 11:56 p.m., followed by a second alarm at 11:58 a.m. and a third alarm at 12:01 a.m. The blaze was put under control at 1:49 a.m. before it was put out at 2:50 a.m.
The blaze started from the fourth floor of a four-story house and damaged P450,000 worth of properties.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
A woman named Marian Lou, 30, suffered difficulty in breathing, the fire station said. She was taken to St. Luke's Medical Center.
A total of 19 fire trucks and mini pumpers, a rescue truck, and three ambulances responded to the incident.
