Worker electrocuted to death in Batangas

TANAUAN CITY, Batangas -- A 46-year-old solar lights installer died and his two co-workers were injured after they were electrocuted while  installing a metal solar light pole here on Thursday afternoon, July 31.
Police identified the fatality as Ruel.
Ruel and colleagues Mario, 35, and Andyniel, 45, were installing a metal solar light pole when it accident touched a live wire.
They were electrocuted and sustained burns and  taken to hospitals here where Ruel was declared dead.
Investigation added that the victims were employees of Barangay Poblacion 7, Tanauan City, working under a contract for the installation of solar light poles on the Tanauan-Talisay-Tagaytay Road in Purok 2, Barangay Talaga, this city.
