Rufa Mae Quinto's husband Trevor Magallanes passes away: 'We are still gathering factual information'

Actress Rufa Mae Quinto has confirmed the death of her former husband, Trevor Magallanes, in the US.
Rufa announced on social media on July 31 that Trevor had passed away. No additional details regarding the cause of his death were provided. The comedienne mentioned that she was traveling to the US with her daughter to discover the reason behind his passing.
She also asked the public to pray for him and to stop spreading speculations about his death. Her full post on Instagram:
"I’m deeply saddened by this development. Hope u give us time to mourn his lost especially my daughter. Just pray for us that we will get thru this by the help of God!
"We are still gathering factual information about his death. Even us or his immediate family are still verifying what happened. So we kindly ask his friends or anyone to stop spreading fake news or mere speculations about his death. I am flying tomorrow for d US with my daughter so pls wait for the official announcement surrounding his death from me & his family only and not fr any other source.
"Thank u very much and pls give us respect & pray for us in this time of trial. Hanggang sa huli…. Hanggang sa muli. Mahal kita Trev," she wrote.
Rufa Mae and Trevor, a Filipino-American financial analyst, married in a Christian ceremony at Blue Leaf Cosmopolitan in Libis, Quezon City, on Nov. 25, 2016. The couple welcomed their daughter, Alexandria Athena, in February 2017.
In January, Rufa mentioned that she and Trevor were experiencing tough times, but she had no intentions of filing for divorce. By May, Rufa confirmed that she and Trevor were still married. However, she said, "Ayaw na rin niya, so ayaw ko na rin at ginagalang ko 'yun. (He doesn't want it anymore, so I don't want it anymore, and I respect that.)"
