CAVITE – A man was found dead at sea in Barangay 49-M, Cavite City, on Wednesday, July 30.
A report from the Police Regional Office 4A stated that the man was reported missing to the Philippine Coast Guard by his immediate family on July 29.
The discovery of the body was reported to the Cavite City Police Station by the Aviation Security Group in Cavite City.
No visible injuries were noted during the initial ocular inspection, leading authorities to believe the victim possibly drowned.
However, the Provincial Forensic Unit was requested to conduct an autopsy on the victim's to support the technical aspects of the investigation.
