Search for 2 missing persons continues

RESCUERS continue their search for a 35-year-old man swept away by a river in Barangay Kias, Baguio City.
Search and rescue (SAR) operations were conducted amid heavy rain for a missing 35-year-old man in Barangay Kias, Baguio City, on July 30.
The man was reported missing after he allegedly slipped and swept away in a river on Tuesday, July 29.
Rescuers expanded their search area from Barangay Kias to Sitio Liw-liw in Ampucao, Itogon, Benguet, using life locator devices.
Search and retrieval operations for a missing farmer in Talinguroy, Wangal, La Trinidad, Benguet, on July 25 are now in their fifth day.
Personnel are on site despite the continuous rain.
The victim was suspected to have been buried by a landslide at 4 a.m. during typhoon ‘’Emong.’’
