The warning was based on a tsunami advisory issued by the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology in parts of the country after a magnitude-8.8 earthquake rocked the Russian Far East Wednesday.
The towns of Infanta and Burdeus both facing the Pacific Ocean suspended classes.
Burdeus also cancelled government work.
The municipal government of Infanta reminded residents to be on alert and follow guidelines and instructions.
