Mayor Along leads turnover of SWAT trucks to Caloocan police
Caloocan City Mayor Dale “Along” Malapitan led the turnover of three Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) pickup trucks to the Caloocan City Police Station - SWAT Team on Wednesday, July 30.
CCPS Chief Col. Joey T. Goforth expressed his gratitude to the city administration.

"Malaking tulong ang bagong sasakyan na ipinagkaloob sa atin ng pamahalaang lungsod lalo na para sa ating mga anti-criminality operations. Makakaasa po ang lahat na patuloy na gagampanan ng CCPS ang mandato nito na linisin ang krimen mula sa Caloocan at panatilihing ligtas ang ating mga komunidad (The new vehicle provided to us by the city government is a great help, especially for our anti-criminality operations. Everyone can count on CCPS to continue fulfilling its mandate to clean up crime from Caloocan and keep our communities safe)," PCol. Goforth said.

The city government will also provide 30 more police police vehicles by the end of the year in order to strengthen the capability of CCPS in maintaining peace and order, and in responding to emergency calls in various localities of the city.
The LGU also implemented safety initiatives, including multiple street lighting projects, disaster and emergency response programs, and an increased number of personnel for traffic safety operations.
