The HERO Foundation’s Annual Board Meeting, held on July 23, 2025, saw its Board of Trustees, led by Chairman Fernando Zobel de Ayala, reaffirm their strong commitment to profoundly impacting the lives of military orphans.
The Board, comprised of prominent business leaders, expressed both honor and confidence in the Foundation's mission. A key outcome of the meeting was the significant strengthening of support for HERO Foundation, with the securing of long-term funding. This crucial development aims to ensure continued educational opportunities for military orphans and to guide the organization toward self-sufficiency.
Since its inception in 1988, the HERO Foundation has provided vital assistance to 2,756 scholars, with an impressive 1,273 having successfully graduated from college. For the upcoming School Year 2025–2026, the Foundation is prepared to support 232 military orphans, continuing its legacy of empowering the children of fallen or incapacitated Filipino soldiers.
