CAMP VICENTE LIM, Laguna – The Police Regional Office 4-A deployed 1,041 police officers from the Calabarzon region to help secure the fourth State-of-the-Nation Address of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. today.
Police Brig. Gen. Jack Wanky, PRO 4-A director, said they underwent a thorough briefing and coordination ensuring for well-organized and safe deployment.
“Ang aming pangunahing layunin ay tiyaking mapayapa at ligtas ang pagdarausan ng SONA. Makakaasa ang publiko na ang PNP, lalo na ang PRO-Calabarzon, ay handang umalalay sa ating kapulisan sa National Capital Region at tumugon sa anumang banta o aberya sa kaganapan,” said Wanky.

Wanky assured that their policemen are alert, well-disciplined, and strictly follow existing operational guidelines, especially on facing situations against protesters and possible contingency plans.
The SONA will be held this afternoon at the House of Representatives in Quezon City.
