Former Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab Edition housemate Esnyr may not have won the top prize for the popular reality show. Still, he was grateful for the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

During a media conference for the Kapamilya housemates recently, Esnyr said that his months of journey in Bahay Na Kuya made him appreciate the small things.

"Mas naging appreciative ako sa Bahay ni Kuya. Mas naging faithful ako sa little things kasi limited kami rito sa pagkain or kulang kami sa tulog. Na-appreciate ko yun dahil sila ang mga kasama ko rito sa bahay. Kahit ano lang na-appreciate ko like katabi kong matulog si crush. I am grateful. (I became more appreciative at PBB. I became more faithful in the little things because we were limited in food, or we didn't get enough sleep. I appreciated that because they were my companions here at home. I enjoyed anything, like my crush sleeping next to me. I am grateful)," the Filipino comedian said.

But Esnyr admitted that he and his tandem, Charlie Flemming, wanted to win the reality program. However, the duo ultimately finished in third place overall.

"Sa lahat nag nagro-root sa akin, huwag kayong mag-alala, ipapa-root canal ko kayong lahat. Maraming salamat sa lahat ng naniniwala sa amin ni Charlie. Yun talaga ang nilalaban namin and I have been vocal about it. (Thank you so much to everyone who believed in Charlie and me. That's really what we're fighting for and I've been vocal about it.)"

"Noong nakuha namin ang third place, I realized na hindi naman siya kawalan. Bonus na lang ito sa amin dahil may isang nagrepresent ng LGBT+ community na umabot sa Big Four. (When we got third place, I realized that it wasn't a loss. It was just a bonus for us because someone representing the LGBT+ community made it to the Big Four.)"

"Yung goal ko talaga is mag-share ng story ko so doon pa lang panalo na tayo. Hindi mo man makukuha ang top spot pero may makukuha ka na more valuable. (My goal is to share my story, so that's where we win. You may not get the top spot, but you'll get something more valuable.)"

"Maraming salamat at hindi ko alam ano ang nakita ninyo sa akin pero I will not disappoint you. I love you all. (Thank you very much, and I don't know what you saw in me, but I will not disappoint you. I love you all)," Esnyr said.

Esnyr eagerly shared his most profound insight gained from his experience upon entering the vibrant world of 'PBB.'

"The pressure has been there ever since I was a kid. I've been carrying the weight of being a member of the LGBT+ community. Natanggap ko naman, and at the same time, I live with it. But the pressure is still there.

"What if I am the reason na maging hate ako ng community namin, or may masabi akong hindi maganda at hindi nila ako matanggap. (What if I am the reason our community hates me, or I say something bad, and they don't accept me.) However, the biggest lesson would be the representation alone, which matters to me, so that I won't have to calculate.

"Gusto kong ipakita sa kanila kung ano talaga ako at ano ang tunay na kulay ko. Sana may nagawa ako kahit na maliit lang for the community. (I want to show them who I am and what my true colors are.) I hope I have done something, even if it's just a small thing, for the community)," Esnyr also said.

Following his memorable journey on 'PBB,' Esnyr envisions the day when he can finally own a car, freeing himself from the daily commute. He dreams of the thrill of driving his vehicle, cruising down the road with the wind in his hair and the freedom to explore at his own pace.

"Lalo po akong nagko-commute at nag-aangkas. Sana makabili na ako ng for transportation ng sarili. I'm proud na nagko-commute pa rin ako. (I mostly commute and hitchhike. I hope to be able to buy my vehicle. I'm proud that I still commute)," he said.

Asked to choose between box office or an award, Esnyr answered: "Mas dream ko ang box office kesa award. Mas maganda yung maraming tumatangkilik. Mas maganda na maraming humahanga sa craft ko. Pero sobrang layo pa ng pangarap ko na yan. At sana naman magkaroon nga ako ng box office. (I will choose the box office over an award. It's better to have a lot of fans. It's better to have many admirers for my craft. But that dream is still very far away from me. And I hope I can box office.)"
