Enjoy the ultimate high school ‘kilig’ and drama all over again as ABS-CBN brings the hit Wattpad story “The Four Bad Boys and Me” to life for its first original YouTube movie, starring Anji Salvacion, Gelo Rivera, Harvey Bautista, Dustine Mayores, and River Joseph, which will stream worldwide on the ABS-CBN Entertainment YouTube channel on July 31.
Directed by well-known filmmaker Benedict Mique, known for the hit romantic comedy movies “Wild Little Love” and “MOMOL Nights,” “The Four Bad Boys and Me” will stream first for all Super Kapamilya YouTube members on July 29 or 48 hours before its official premiere.
Anji and Gelo shared their excitement about bringing popular Wattpad characters to life during the film’s mediacon on July 25.
Anji revealed that she has always been a big fan of the story and said, "Ever since grade 9 kami ng mga classmate ko, abang na abang kami sa next chapter ng story. This is a good story kasi madaming makaka-relate. I'm stepping out of my comfort zone in this movie."
Also joining the cast to add more classic high school drama to the story are rising young stars Brent Manalo, AC Bonifacio, Analain Salvador, Gela Alonte, and Krystal Brimner.

Are bad boys attractive?
During the lively press conference, Anji, Analain, Gela, and Krystal discussed whether they find any bad boys attractive.
"I think yes! In my personal experience, I would say yes. There's something about the bad boys. They don't know they're sexy and handsome. I find the bad boys sexy," said Anji. "Kasi yung mga good boys, they know they're cute. They know they're gwapo. Bad boys kasi hindi sila namamansin ng iba kung may gusto sila. Yung gusto lang nila ang pinapansin nila. (Because good boys, they know they're cute. They know they're handsome. Bad boys because they don't notice others when they like something. They only see what they want.)"
Krystal answered the same question. "Yes, I find them attractive also as long as they have a good heart. Nasa loob kasi yun eh. (What matters is what is on the inside.)"
""Honestly, not really. I find the soft, feminine voice more attractive. Gusto ko yung mga cute at bata yung face. (I like those with cute and young faces)," Analain said.
Gela remarked: "Parang no! Same kami ni Analain na leaning sa mga good-looking boys or neat-looking. (It seems like no! Analain and I are on the same path. We lean towards good-looking boys or neat-looking.)"
'Bad Boys'
Gello said he is excited for his acting debut as an arrogant leader of the four bad boys. "Aside from the pressure na nararamdaman ko, sobrang grateful ko na nakasabay ko sila sa first project ko bilang aktor. It was a rollercoaster of emotions. (Aside from the pressure I feel, I'm so grateful that I got to work with them on my first project as an actor. It was a rollercoaster of emotions.)
River, who was dubbed “Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab Edition’s ‘green flag,’ also shared that viewers will get to see a different side of him as the group’s troublemaker but protective older brother of Anji’s character.
Harvey, who plays the charming and mysterious type, and Dustine, the love interest of the group, also expressed their excitement about bringing good vibes and romantic feelings to viewers.
Based on blue_maiden’s popular Wattpad that has over 326 million reads, the movie adaptation follows the awkward high school senior Candice (Anji) whose quiet life becomes exciting when she gets entangled in the lives of the most popular boys at school - Jeydon (Gelo), Troy (Dustine), Marky (Harvey), and Charles (River).
What was once a bitter relationship will turn unexpectedly sweet as the school’s heartthrobs vie for Candice's affection when she undergoes a total transformation as the “Ms. Campus” representative. Who among the boys will win Candice’s heart?
Director Benedict confirmed that the movie was filmed in September 2024, but it will only be released this year.
Benedict also stated that the team remained faithful to its core.
"It's more of compressing (the book). But we kept the most iconic scenes. Fans have their favorite scenes, dialogues, and situations. Yun ang makikita nila sa pelikula," he said.
