Baby drowns in Dagupan flood

DAGUPAN CITY – The body of an eight-month-old baby boy was found floating on flood water in Sitio Bayanihan, Barangay Caranglaan, this city, on Friday, July 25.
The baby’s mother, Mary Joy de Guzman, left the baby to Mike Pelicano, father of the child, to run errands.
She returned home to discovered her child floating on flood water while her husband was sleeping.
Nurses rendered first aid to the baby and taken to a hospital where he was declared dead.
