The Quezon City Police District (QCPD) will strictly enforce a liquor ban on Monday, July 28, in line with the fourth State of the Nation Address (SONA) of President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr.

The liquor ban will be take effect from 12:01 a.m. to 6 p.m., in pursuant to Executive Order No. 9, Series of 2025, which prohibits the sale, distribution, and consumption of alcoholic beverages across the city during the specified hours.
QCPD Officer-in-Charge Col. Randy Glenn Silvio said the ban is part of the city's security measures to maintain peace and order and prevent any disruptions during the President’s annual address.
Violators will face penalties in accordance with existing laws and local ordinances.
Authorities urged residents, business owners, and visitors to strictly comply with the directive for the safety of the public.
The public is encouraged to report violations through Emergency Hotline 911 or the QC Helpline 122.
