7 houses, gasoline station damaged by whirlwind

Seven houses and a gasoline station were damaged by a whirlwind in Barangay Nagbacalan, Paoay, Ilocos Norte on Saturday afternoon, July 26.
Jesus Bacena, Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Officer (MDRRMO), said the whirlwind struck at 4 p.m.
Nobody was hurt from the 40-second whirlwind.
Mayor Sheila Galano assured assistance for affected structures.
The MDRRMO has cleared debris.
