CAVITE – A landslide along the boundary of Tagaytay City and Silang on Thursday, July 24, left three dead and one injured.

A report from the Police Regional Office 4A stated that the four victims were staying in construction barracks when the landslide occurred amid torrential rains, trapping them inside.
Tagaytay and Silang LGUs, along with the police and the Bureau of Fire Protection, conducted a joint rescue operation.
Rescuers initially found one victim who was rushed to the hospital for medical treatment.
Tagaytay Component City Police Station (Tagaytay CCPS) told the Manila Bulletin that the bodies of the three remaining victims were all recovered on Friday, July 25, wrapping up the retrieval operations.
