Marking two glorious decades of golf excellence, the Lakewood Golf and Country Club held a member-guests tournament on June 28, 2025, in celebration of its 20th anniversary.
The shotgun event was kicked off with a ceremonial tee by Sta. Lucia Land Chairman and Lakewood Board Member Vicente R. Santos, Sta. Lucia Land VP Vincent L. Santos and son Cade Santos, Lakewood members Richard Joson and Oscar Gallo.
Vicente Santos, Lakewood Golf director and Sta. Lucia chairman; and Elson Alvaran, general manager of Beverly Place Golf, one of Sta. Lucia's golf courses, presented the plaques and prizes to the tournament winners and raffle recipients.

For the top categories, it was the pair of Richard Joson and Edison Tabalen who emerged as the Low Gross Champions while Lawrence Escaudro and Ernesto Talens dominated the Low Net category.
Boyet Aberin and Matt Regalado bagged the Class A championship while Jonar Austria and Von Vargas got the runners up position.
For Class B, Jomar Pestaño and Roland Bregente clinched the championship title while Jones and Byron Tulod garnered the runner up trophies.

Rounding up the winners for the Class C category were Lance Santiago and Lope Tubera. Stepping into the runners up position are Nick Vicencio and Amadeo Bernardez.
Going to the Guest category, Luis Balimbing and Enrique Collantes displayed a stunning performance which earned them the championship spot while Mershan Puhayon and Luther Leviste followed as the runners up.

Some of the major prizes that were up for grabs included a brand-new Nissan Almera, a Yamaha golf cart, ₱100,000 worth of K and G Golf Apparel and Accessories products, ₱20,000 cash and other special gifts.
The Lakewood 20th Anniversary Tournament was co presented by Sta. Lucia Realty and Development Inc, Sta. Lucia Land Inc., Nissan Cabanatuan, The Turf Company, Farmers AMC, NE Bakeshop and Restaurant, and Pocari Sweat. Partnered golf clubs included: The Orchard Golf and Country Club, The Pinewoods Golf and Country Club, Beverly Hills Golf Club and Sherwood Hills Golf Club.
