Kapuso reporter Bernadette Reyes on her critics: 'You cannot please everyone'

Kapuso reporter Bernadette Reyes has vowed to deliver news despite being ridiculed by some netizens.

"Ilang beses nyo man ako kutyain o murahin, patuloy akong magsisilbi sa bayan, uulit-ulitin para sa bayan. (No matter how many times you mock or curse at me, I will continue to serve the people, I will do it again and again for the people)," said Bernadette in her post on Instagram on July 24.

Bernadette stated that she cannot please everyone.

"Sabi nga nila you cannot please everyone. kaya naman tanggap ko na may mga taong hindi ako kailanman magugustuhan. subalit nakalulungkot na sa kabila ng malinis na hangarin na tumulong sa bayan heto mura pa ang inaabot. (They say you can't please everyone. That's why I accept that there are people who will never like me. But it's sad that despite the pure intention of helping the people, they still come up with cheap things)," she added.

Recently, some netizens ridiculed Bernadette for her appearance while she was reporting on the flood situation.
