Find your inner calm at this Totoro-inspired zen garden workshop at Mitsukoshi Mall
Create your own tiny world of peace, moss, and nostalgia
From Aug. 2 to 3, 2025, the plant-loving creatives behind Moss Escape are hosting a Totoro-Inspired Zen Garden Workshop—a hands-on terrarium-making experience that blends nostalgia, mindfulness, and nature into a charming tabletop display at Mitsukoshi Mall in Taguig City. Whether you’re a longtime Studio Ghibli fan or just someone in need of a little serenity, this two-hour session offers a playful yet meditative escape from the usual hustle.
Guided by experienced terrarium artists, participants will craft their own miniature landscape using live moss, lava rocks, sand, gravel, and carefully chosen Totoro-inspired figurines. The scene is set inside a glass container—your choice of size—turning each creation into a living snapshot of calm.
It’s not just a crafting session—it’s storytelling in soil and stone.
Here are what included in the workshop:
A glass terrarium (in various sizes). The price varies depending on the size:
- Small bowl - P2.500
- Large bowl - P3,500
- Glass jar - P4,500 (build together)
- Glass house - P5,500 (build together)
A full set of natural materials, including fresh moss, Totoro-themed miniatures, tools and hands-on guidance, and your own take-home Zen garden.
Each session runs for two hours, with four schedules available across the weekend. Slots are limited, so early reservation is encouraged. To book your spot, just scan the QR code or send a message to Moss Escape on Instagram or Facebook.
Whether you come solo for some quiet crafting time or bring a friend along, this workshop invites you to slow down, get your hands a little earthy, and walk away with a tiny world that brings a sense of nature and joy into your daily life.
