154 of 628 examinees pass 2025 Shari'ah Special Bar Exams – SC
Only 154 of the 628 examinees passed the 2025 Shari’ah Special Bar Examinations (SSBE) administered by the Supreme Court (SC) last May.
SC Associate Justice Antonio T. Kho Jr., chairperson of the Committee on SSBE, said the passing average rate was 24.48 percent.
Kho also announced that the oathtaking and signing of the Rolls of Attorneys by the successful examinees will be held on August 6 at The Manila Hotel.
This year’s Shari’ah examinations were conducted digitally. The SC also used a translation software that converted English questions to Arabic, and examinees’ answers from Arabic to English.
The examinations were held at the University of the Philippines Diliman in Quezon City, Mindanao State University-Iligan Institute of Technology, Ateneo de Davao University, and Ateneo de Zamboanga University.
