The city government of Parañaque distributed nutritional support to evacuees seeking temporary shelter in the city's evacuation centers due to flooding.
Parañaque City Mayor Edwin Olivarez said the team of the City Nutrition Office (CNO) visited displaced residents at the evacuation centers and provided support by distributing free micronutrient powder to children at risk for malnutrition.

Olivarez said multi-vitamins and Vitamin A were also distributed to evacuees of all ages to boost their immunity.
He said that for lactating mothers, the CNO also set up a breastfeeding corner and were given hygiene kits.
The mayor said the city government prioritized the health and nutrition of vulnerable groups to prevent the spread of illness, especially among children and senior citizens, while they are staying at the evacuation centers.
