Hanging bridge collapses in QC, local gov't assures immediate action
The Quezon City government assured residents of Barangays Sta. Lucia and North Fairview that immediate action is being taken following the collapse of a hanging bridge that connected the two communities.
The bridge was destroyed on Monday, July 21, after the Tullahan River overflowed due to heavy rains brought by the recent typhoons.

Residents were advised to use the nearby Atherton Bridge as an alternative route.
The Traffic and Transport Management Department – Tricycle Regulatory Division is also studying the adjustment of tricycle routes and trips in the area to ensure the comfort of the public, especially students),” it said.
