Batangas town under state of calamity

AGONCILLO, Batangas -- This town is under a state of calamity due to the effects of storms and the southwest monsoon or "habagat" effective July 23.
The Municipal Council led by presiding officer and Vice Mayor Ramjelljan Humarang approved Resolution No. 07-07-2025.
Officials said the declaration is a measure in response to the severe threat and effects of tropical cyclone "Crising" that caused damage to the entire town.
Amidst the challenges and trials caused by the weather, the town of Agoncillo remains strong and united, in every step will give attention and priority to the safety and welfare of every citizen, officials said.
The municipal government called on the public to be vigilant and cooperate in times of need.
They said that times of calamity are not easy, but with unity and cooperation, they will surely overcome all trials.
