Animal rescuer appeals for help in transporting stranded pets
CALASIAO, Pangasinan – An animal rescuer on Thursday appealed for assistance in transporting her remaining animals stranded by floods in her house in Barangay Songkoy here.

Marinella Palaganas was able to transport 40 cats to a rented house in Manzon, San Carlos City, Pangasinan on Thursday.
However, more than 10 dogs were left in their house and have yet to be retrieved due to tropical cyclone ''Emong'' and rising flood.
“Lumalakas na ang bagyo at tumataas din ng tubig kaya kailangan mailikas sa mataas na lugar at maitransport ng madalian para hindi na kami mahirapan,” Marita Palaganas, mother of Marinella, said.
"Hello everyone, were looking for volunteers po to transport the rescues in Barangay Manzon, San Carlos City. Please I need your help po physically today! Lumalakas na po hangin. Baka rin po puwede po kayong mag volunteer na ayusin mga cats at dogs. We need more cages rin po ASAP please! Thank you po!" Marita said.
