2 retired teachers found dead in Bohol home

CEBU CITY – Police are investigating the deaths of two elderly siblings in Batuan town, Bohol.
Retired teachers Felicitas Tacgos Bahandi, 84, and her 78-year-old sister Januaria were found inside a room of their house in Barangay Cabacnitan.
Police said the victims have been dead for 72 hours before their bodies were found on Tuesday afternoon, July 22.
Cause of deaths has yet to be determined but initial findings showed that the two had no external injuries.
The Municipal Health Officer recommended an autopsy to determine if there was foul play in their deaths.
No belongings or items were missing in the house.
Neighbors noticed foul smell and entered their house at past 1 p.m. and found their decomposing bodies.
Police are investigating the incident.
