Buy-bust in Rodriguez, Rizal nets P760,000 shabu

A buy bust operation by the police in Rodriguez, Rizal resulted in the confiscation of 113 grams of suspected shabu (methamphetamine hydrochloride) and the arrest of two suspected drug pushers on Tuesday, July 22.

A report reaching the office of Rizal Police Provincial Office (PPO) Director Col. Feloteo Golzalgo showed that the drug sting was conducted in Marang Road, Barangay Burgos, Rodriguez, Rizal. The two suspects, a certain Mark, 21, a gym instructor, and a certain Jen, 29, a trucking firm owner, were arrested by operatives of the Rodriguez Police Station.

Found in the suspect’s possession were four small sachets of suspected shabu, the P1,000 buy- bust money, and other drug paraphernalia.

The two suspects who are facing charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 were detained at the Rodriguez Custodial Facility.
