6 areas closed to traffic in Pasay City due to flooding

The city government of Pasay City closed six areas in the city to traffic due to flooding brought about by the nonstop rains.
Motorists were advised to avoid Marcela Marcelo in Barangay 177 and Barangay 186 due to knee-deep flooding; Barangays 180, 181,182, and 174 in Mulawin Maricaban with chest-level flooding.

The city government continues to monitor the areas after it was recorded that the continued flooding reached the high level on July 23 at 9:00 a.m.
Residents in these areas were also told to seek temporary shelter at their nearest evacuation centers for their safety.
For immediate assistance, residents may call the Pasay Traffic and Parking Management Office at 88890218 or 82523846 or the Pasay City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office at 09054939111 / 85517777 / 88338512 for evacuation.
