Pasay LGU records 821 evacuees, several barangays still flooded

The city government of Pasay City recorded a total of 821 evacuees or 228 families affected by nonstop heavy rains affecting Metro Manila and other parts of the country.
As of noon, the city government recorded several flooded areas in 201 barangays in the city and not passable to all types of vehicles.
The stranded individuals who were rescued by combined agencies from the city government were brought to the following evacuation sites: Barangay Multipurpose Hall in Barangay 185 with seven evacuees; Barangay 186 gym with 362; Kalayaan covered court in Barangay 201 with 104 individuals of 30 families; Barangay 813 gym with 111 evacuees; and Apelo Elementary School with 158 evacuees.
Pasay City Vice Mayor Mark Calixto visited families seeking temporary shelter in the city's evacuation sites to ensure their safety. He also distributed hot meals to them.
The city government also prepared food packs and other necessities needed by the evacuees at the evacuation sites.
