As of 12 p.m., floodwaters remained gutter-deep in major roads, including Taft Avenue and España Boulevard, making several thoroughfares difficult to access.
The city government has advised residents to stay indoors as much as possible, particularly in low-lying areas where water levels have not yet receded.
Emergency operations are ongoing, focusing on continuous rescue efforts, relief distribution, and the management of overcrowded shelters.
The Manila Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office continues to monitor the situation across all districts.
Relief teams of the Department of Social Welfare are distributing food packs, clean drinking water, clothing, and hygiene supplies, while medical personnel have been deployed to evacuation centers to assist with health and sanitation concerns.
With more rain expected in the coming days, city officials are urging the public to remain alert and cooperative, and to report emergencies through active disaster hotlines.
Authorities continue to assess affected areas and are prepared to deploy additional resources if needed
