Government work in the entire province of Batangas was suspended on Tuesday, July 22, due to the continuing inclement weather.
However, the provincial government said that frontline offices directly involved in disaster risk reduction and management, delivery of basic health services, and other vital services are expected to report for duty.
The suspension of work in private companies and offices was left to the discretion of their employers.
The suspension of work was declared upon the recommendation of the Office of the Civil Defense (OCD).
