Calabarzon's most wanted falls in Iloilo

ILOILO CITY – The No. 1 most wanted person in Calabarzon region was caught in Maasin town, Iloilo province.

The Police Regional Office-6 identified the suspect as Seph who was arrested through a warrant for rape issued by a court in Laguna.

LIGAN

The 52-year-old suspect was originally from Sibunag town in Guimaras province and worked in Laguna as a house helper.

The suspect allegedly raped two minors in the house he was working in. The suspect is also facing charges of acts of lasciviousness.

He was arrested by the Guimaras Police Provincial Office-Provincial Intelligence Unit (GPPO-PIU), the Sibunag Municipal Police Station (MPS), the Regional Intelligence Unit-Provincial Intelligence Team Guimaras, Maasin MPS, and counterpart units from Police Regional Office 4-A (Calabarzon).

The PRO-6 lauded the arrest of Calabarzon’s most wanted person.

“I commend our operating personnel for the successful arrest of a most wanted person from another region. This accomplishment highlights the effectiveness of intelligence coordination and the dedication of our units in pursuing justice beyond boundaries,” said PRO-6 Director Police Brig. Gen. Josefino Ligan.
