Mayor Ruffy Biazon announced the different areas in barangays that experienced flooding due to the monsoon rains.
Several areas in Muntinlupa were flooded as heavy rains continued overnight.
Muntinlupa is under blue alert status and personnel from the Muntinlupa City Department of Disaster Resilience and Management are on standby to respond to emergencies.
At 11 a.m. on July 22, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) issued an orange warning for Metro Manila, Zambales, Bataan, Bulacan, Pampanga, Cavite, Batangas and Rizal with an advice that “flooding is still threatening.”

Biazon held a live broadcast on Facebook from the Muntinlupa Operations Center, which is monitoring different barangays 24/7. He said a family in Barangay Sucat was evacuated due to flooding.
The Tunasan river at the boundary of Muntinlupa and San Pedro, Laguna overflowed but subsided, according to the San Pedro local government.
The list of flood areas was submitted to the mayor by barangay captains.
