The Philippine Davis Cup team shares the limelight with the Philippine Blu Girls in a two-part session of the Philippine Sportswriters Association Forum on Tuesday, July 22, at the conference hall of the Rizal Memorial Sports Complex.
Philippine Tennis Association Executive Director Tonette Mendoza and national team standout Ruben Gonzales take care of the Davis Cup side as the Philippine squad was promoted in Group III of the Asia Oceania zone.
Meanwhile, Blu Girls Royevel Palma and April Mae Minanga discuss the team’s road to the 2026 Nagoya Asian Games after earning a berth in the quadrennial meet year following a fourth place finish in the just concluded Women’s Softball Asia Cup in China.
Set at 10:30 a.m., the weekly Forum is presented by San Miguel Corporation, Philippine Sports Commission, Philippine Olympic Committee, MILO, Smart/PLDT, and the country’s 24/7 sports app Arena Plus.
The session is livestreamed via the PSA Facebook page fb.com/PhilippineSportswritersAssociation, aired on a delayed basis over Radyo Pilipinas 2, and shared on its official Facebook page Radyo Pilipinas 2 sports.
