PHINMA infuses ₱300 million more into Bacolod township as construction hits full swing
Del Rosario-led PHINMA Corp. has infused an additional ₱300 million in capital into the group’s first-ever township in Bacolod City—Saludad—which is projected to require investments of up to ₱12 billion.
In a disclosure to the Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE), the firm said the fresh capital infusion reflects greater confidence in the project’s strong performance and promising prospects.
PHINMA said it transferred an additional ₱300 million to its subsidiary, PHINMA Property Holdings Corp. (PHINMA Properties), to be fully allocated to the 21-hectare (ha), mixed-use master-planned development in partnership with JEPP Real Estate Co. of the Jacinto, Echaus, and Puentevella families.
“This new ₱300-million investment will allow PHINMA Properties to sustain the favorable market momentum for our Saludad project in Bacolod,” said PHINMA Chairman and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Ramon R. del Rosario Jr.
He noted that, “This signifies the PHINMA Group’s stronger commitment to the Bacolod community and nearby areas by promoting economic development and creating new livelihood opportunities.”
Saludad harnesses the group’s essential services: PHINMA Hospitality’s lifestyle brand TRYP by Wyndham Bacolod, the township’s anchor tenant whose construction is expected to begin soon; Southwestern University PHINMA’s first campus outside Cebu City; and building materials from PHINMA Construction Materials Group.
“We’re creating a lively, sustainable community for our beloved Bacolodnons where they can easily access essentials to dignified lives,” said PHINMA Properties President and CEO Raphael B. Felix.
He added that, “Saludad combines the best offerings of the PHINMA Group with the city’s rich heritage and beautiful sceneries, amid its fast-growing economy—this marriage of tradition and modernity makes it distinctly Bacolod.”
The development will also be a business hub featuring commercial and retail spaces and residential areas, catering to entrepreneurs and professionals alike.
“With the township’s construction in full swing, the southern phase one will be completed by the first quarter of 2026 and the northern phase two will be finished in 2028.
“PHINMA Properties looks forward to sharing more of Saludad to people within and beyond Bacolod,” PHINMA Properties Vice President and Chief Township Officer Paolo V. Reyes said.
PHINMA Properties launched Saludad last October. The township was master-planned by award-winning firm Royal Pineda+ Architecture.Design.
Also last October, PHINMA Prorperties launched Likha Estates, a meticulously planned residential community inside Saludad, which features modern living spaces, upscale amenities, and green spaces that seamlessly blend a life of class and convenience.
"At Likha Estates, families in Bacolod can find a home where they can recharge, unwind, and excel. Its various amenities enable a well-rounded lifestyle tailored to whatever their needs and desires are," said Reyes.
