House awards Davao City Rep. Paolo Duterte

DAVAO CITY – The House of Representatives awarded Davao City first district Rep. Paolo Z. Duterte a certificate of recognition for exemplary service in legislative work and community leadership.

He thanked the House leadership for the recognition.

The lawmaker in statement said that the true honor lies in the trust and support of the people of Davao City.

Rep. Duterte described the citation as meaningful, yet secondary to the confidence bestowed upon them by the Davaoeños during the last election.

“While I am grateful for the gesture, the only recognition I truly value is the overwhelming trust and mandate given to me by the people of Davao City during the recent election,” Rep. Duterte said.

He underscored that public service remains a duty anchored in the will of the people, not accolades or awards.

“Their continued support is the highest honor—and the only acknowledgment I will ever long for."

He affirmed his commitment to public service. “Padayon ta, Davao. Mabuhay ang Pilipino (Let’s keep going, Davao. Long live the Filipino)."
