Dilag tapped to head PRO-Cordillera

Philippine National Police chief Police Gen. Nicolas Torre II has appointed Police Brig. Gen. Ericson Dilag to lead the Police Regional Office-Cordillera Administrative Region.

Dilag assumed the position in a ceremony at the PRO-CAR headquarters in Camp Major Bado Dangwa, La Trinidad, Benguet on July 21.

Dilag, from Kalinga, succeeded Police Brig. Gen. David Peredo Jr. who served for over two years.

Acting Deputy Chief PNP for Operations, Police Lt. Gen. Alan Okubo, presided over the ceremony.

Okubo, who was also the guest of honor and speaker, lauded both the outgoing and incoming regional directors for their steadfast leadership and dedicated service to the public.

Dilag received the PRO-CAR command symbol and property equipment inventory book from Peredo, who thanked personnel and stakeholders for their unwavering support throughout his leadership.

Dilag pledged to sustain and build upon the gains of the command and called for unity, professionalism, and unwavering dedication from all personnel.
